Submitting an essay to your internal editors or Prompt editors for review

  1. Once a student submits their essay to you, you will receive an email notification indicating that there is an essay ready for you to review. You can also find all essays that need attention in your ‘To-Do’ tab.

  1. If you click on an essay, you will see several options that will allow you to provide feedback on the essay yourself (in Word or Google Docs), send it to Prompt, or send it to your team of internal editors.

  1. If you submit the essay to Prompt, a box will pop up informing you of the status of your essay review limits (if applicable) and also ask you some questions so we can get some information from you about how to best provide feedback for your student. You’ll also see the price for our team to review your essay.

  1. If you choose to send the essay to your team of internal editors, a box will also pop up allowing you to send them messages about the student and/or assignment that won’t be visible to the student.
