2026 Updates

• 3/19/2026: The new Overcoming Obstacles module is live on the platform! Students can use this module independently or during a call to outline supplemental essays with prompts focusing on overcoming challenges or navigating disagreements.
• 3/6/2026: The error with the blue submission links at the top of feedback documents is now resolved! Students should be able to submit essays for review and counselors can submit feedback using the blue submission link at the top of the Google Doc without error.
• 3/3/2026: Users have reported errors with the blue submission link at the top of feedback documents in Google Docs. Our team is investigating this issue, but while this error persists, students and counselors should submit essays and feedback on the Prompt platform via the student’s essays page.
• 2/25/2026: We’ve updated the Application Plan module to include more thorough brainstorming guidance. Once the student completed their initial brainstorm, they’ll be prompted to add details about their motivation, action, impact, growth and additional steps related to each expereince. More thorough brainstorms means stronger first drafts and an easier essay drafting process!
